What does empowering an Ummah mean? Leaders in elected office. Grounded entrepreneurship. Excellence within industry. At MSFR we have hosted civic leaders, entrepreneurs, industry experts and executives, connecting them to the community. Rooted in Amanah. Built to last.
Support the workOne summer. On the record.
Eighteen events between June and September: a sitting cabinet minister, Members of Parliament, and a mayoral candidate in conversation with our community, three film screenings, two Halal Vibes culture nights, a poetry and comedy night, and three running programs: Forge, Forum, and Foundry. Every number published, every promise kept.
Built in phases. Building still.
The community
A growing membership, three running programs, and a space where civic leaders and the community meet face to face.
The coop
A business cooperative for our builders: founders, tradespeople, and professionals learning and growing together, cohort by cohort.
The platform
Media, training, and membership that sustain the work: stories told at scale and leaders developed in the open.
The institutions
Research, policy, and economic infrastructure for the Ummah, insha'Allah. Institutions that outlast all of us.
You can be part of the change.
Everything above happened because people decided it should exist. $150 keeps our Downtown Eastside doors open for one day. Monthly members keep them open for good.
